Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, the Republioan county convention was held in thecourt room. 21 delegates were chosen to attend the State Republican convention, which meets at Detroit on Feb. 21, to pliiee in nomination candidatos for the office of aBsociate justice of the eupreme court and two regents of the university, in place of Justice Sherwood and Regenta Drper and Blair, whose leims expire. The convention was colled to order by W. M. Osband, of Ypsilanli, chairman of the county coiumittee. A. W. Hamilton, of Ann Arbor, ws chnsen as temporary chairman, and G. T. Ptncil, of Ypsilanti, as temporary secretary. The following committees were appointed: Credentials :- E. K. Frueauff, of Ann Arbor; Albert Graves, of Ypsilanti township; R Snulsbury, of Pittsfield. Permauent orgHnizuion nd, order of rusineís: - Geo. 8. WheHer, of Salem; Dr. 0 G. D .rling, of Ann Albor; Chas. Blackmer, ot Milán. The convention then ndjourned until 1:30 p. m. AFTKRNOON 8ES8ION. The temporary officers were raade permanent. Hon. A. J.
