Chicago, Feb. 20.- The semi-anuual convention of the National Electric Liffht AsBociation couvened in this city yesterday. The convention was called to order by President Duncan, whose address dealt chiefly with the great improvement Ín electrical science and appliances in the last six months. There are now 5,747 electric-light stations; 219,1)4 are lights in use; 2,142,440 Incandescent lights, and flfty-three electric railways in operatíon with 294 miles of track.
