Delano, Cal., Feb. 24.- As train 17 left Pixley Friday evening flve men boarded ik Two got on the engine and eovered the engineer and fireman with revolvers. When about two miles from the station the train was broug-ht to a stop and the other three men entered the express car and ordered the messenger to open the box, covering him with revolvers. Dynamite bombs were exploded under the cars, and during the excitement several passenger ran toward the front, two of whom were shot. E. 8. Bently, of Modesto, was probably fatally wounded. The other was Charles Gabert, of Poso, who was killed instantly. The train ran back to Pixley, where news was left. The passenger coaches were not molested.
