Onreadingandfilingthepctition.dulyverified, of Daniel Lyon, prayiug that Administration of said estáte may be granted to Arthur S. Lyon or some other suitable person. Thereupon it is ordered, that Monday, the fourth day of Maren next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon. be assigned for the hearing of said petition and thatihe heirs atlaw of said deceased, and all other persons interested in said estáte are required to appear at a sesslon of said Court then to be holden at the Probate Office, in the City of Ann Arbor, and show cause, i f any there be, hy the prayer of the petitoner should uot be granted. [Pas5ed February 5th. 1889.] Bc it Ordalned by the 'ayor, Recorder, and Aldermen of the City of Ann Arbor: Section 1. That it shall bc unlawful for any hack.carriage or omnibus driver, or any other person soliciting passeugers or travelere at the Michigan Central depot, in the city of Ann Arbor, to solicit passengere or travelere, except at the steps of their respective vehicles, located at the South ide of the Michigan Central depot at such place as ihall be designated by the station agent of f aid depot, at which location all pereons so soliciting are hereb required to be at their respective hacks, carriages or omnibuses on the arrlval of passenger trains, and there to remain during the slay of said pasfenger trains at said depot, and for the period of two minutes after the departure of said passenger trains from taid depot. No person shall act or engage in the business of a public porter or runner for any hotel in the city of Ann Arbor, nor sball any omnibus agent, or any omnibus, hack or carriage driver, or drivers of baggage wagons, act as porter or runner for any hotelin said city Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons driving a baggage wagon, or any one accompanying the same, to solicit passengere or travelere when at said passenger depot, or where passenger trains may be standiog. Sec. 3. It shall be unlawful for any person or pereons sollciting passeugers or travelere to do so in a boisterous or noisy manner, or treat them ín any other way than civilly and gentlemanly. Sec. 4. Any person or persons violating any of the proyisions of this ordinance, or failing to comply v-ith tne provisión and requtremenu of the same, shall, on conviction, be puuished by a filie, not exceediug tweuty-five dollars, to be recovered twfore any justice of the peace of the city of Ann Arbqr, and in the imposition of any such fine the justice of the peace may make a further order that in defaultof the payment of said fine within the tiaae to be fixed by the justice in his entence, the oflender shall be commltted to the county jail of Washtenaw couaty, for a period of time not exceeding thirty dayr. Sec. 5. An ordinance of said city entitled "an ordinance relative to hack or omnibus dovere."1 made and passed September 20th 1875 is hereby repealed. Sec. 6.
