During Winter, Nature wisely arranges that we should liveon foods containing inuch fat,or, as they are known, hydrocarbons, for the purpose of supplying heat to the body; the chemical operation necessary to transform fat into heat is the exclusive work of the liver, and so during the time stated it is constantly congested. With the approach of warm weather our diet changes to musele-producing food, and the work of the liver is much lessened. In the majority of cases, however, it is JO unable to completely throw off the excessof bile, but rernains congested, causing that 8" lazy, tired feeling which many have in the Spring months, when the weather becomes warm. BOfThis is evidence of an unhealthy condition, and though people appreciate the necessity of an alterative at this period, the common idea is to take drastic pilla and produce a cathartic effect, only to make mattere J8ÖT" woree. The liver must be unloaded.and itsprop. action restored before hot weather, ifyou wish to J86T" preserve health.and if this distinct cali of nature is unheeded serious results will occur. JtST"The blood will become loaded with bile and lithic acid, and asflST'every drop of vital fluid passes through the kidneys to be purified, they soon break down and are unable to oarry out the deadly poison. Warner's Safe Cure and Warner's Safe Pilis have not only a jg specific action on the kidneys, but on the 86T" liver also. S@f They thin the thickened bile so that it will pass out through its ducts, enable the glands tounload themselves, act as a solvent on all biliary acid and in a word, t&" fit these great organs for the season's work, 86T" preventing blood poisoning, inflammation, abscess, and all affections to which they are so Hable. JOAs you value the blessings of health, do not allow the summer to approach without giving your system a "general house-cleaning," in the raanner we have indicated. J6T"" To be forewarned is to be forearmed."
