Austis, Nev.. March 16 - A temblé tragedy occuned Thursday between 2 and 3 o'cIock p. m. at Italian Canvon, twelve miles from Iliis city. Samuel liundle killed his father-in-law. (ieorge Hosking, and his brother-in-law, aged 15, by shooting them. A charge of shot entered the lef t side of the former's neck and tore away the face of the other victim. A boy named John King, hearing the shot, came toward the house and was met by Rundie. Holding the gnn, tbe latter asked the boy to Bhoot him. The lad refused, telling him to "g-o to the Iioii8e andget dinner." Eundle then took the boy'g horse and rode three milos to a lower ranch, entered the kitchen of the house, and with a pisto! shot JIrs Hosking in the temple and then killed himseli. Mra Hosking was ironing clothes at the time. The shooting was the result of a división ot property and of family troubles. Mrs. Kundle was here in town at the tiin e of the tragedy and is almost distractcd. She has two childreu, the oldest being only 18 months old.
