A Bloody Deed

UINCINNATI, July 29.- The body of Dr. A. E. Jones, afjed 77 years, a reRpected citizen of thls city and Surgeon-General of the State, was found Saturday in a man-hole near hls residence. He had been missing slnoe Thursday afternoon. Charles Bligh, a colored ooachman, was arrested, and oonfessed that he oommited the crime. He aid the doctor scolded him and struck him when he took a club and killed him. Bligh Is 30 years old. Dr. Jones had been active In publio aflalrs, servin? often in the municipal council, and had, besides, held eeveral offices under appointment frora the General Government He was, perhaps, more widely known in Clncinnati than any other cltizsu.
