Broke A National Bank

Moünt Gilead, O., Aug. 2ti.- The doors of tbe Mount Gilead National Bank wera closed Saturday morning, and all day the wildest ruinors in regard to the bank'a condition Bpread through the town. The directors were in consultation, and no Information was given out until ' o'clock, when it was announced that the cashier, R. P. Holliday, was found to be about í2r,000 short in nis accounts. No business will be done until Bank Examinar Sullivan, who has been sent for, makes an investigfation.
