A Monster Tidal Wave

New York, Sept. 9. - A monster tidal waye created havoc on the Far Kockaway beach yesterday. Over 2,000 persons were drenched. three uien were drowned, and many email buildings were wrecked. At Atlantic City and Asbury Park, N. J., seyeral buildings were also destroyed by high tides. At Coney Ieland the giant wavea broke wlth a roar like incesxant cannonading and the sea washed a channel clear across the bar to Coney Islam! creek.
