Chicago, Sept. Ü3.- The Streator (I1L) window-glass works have been sold to an F.astern eyndicate. The price paid waa (100,000. The new "trust" is known aa the United Glasa Company. The fifty-five window-glass faotories of the country are to be united. The trust controla all the íaotories in New York, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. The combine is capitallzed at $3,000,000, and has already purchased the works at Rock Island and Oitawa, leavtng the factory at Bellevllle the only one in the State not yet in their control. The head quarters of the new company is in this city.
