Sam Langsdorf went to Detroit Saturday and stayed until Monday. Master Cari Schairer started Saturday to visit his aunt in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. C. Bliss tpent a few days visiting at Jackson last week. Miss Allie Eckleff of Detroit is the guest of Miss Emily Smitb. J. C. Wa'ts of East Saginaw ppen tSunday with his family on Liberly-st. Fred D. McCutcheon of Toledo was a guest of VVilliam Walsh over Sunday. Frank A. Thompson of Detroit ppent Sunday with his mother on S. Fifth-8t. William Kuhn of Fowlerville visited his sister, Mrs. Edwin Wooley, laat week. Miss Nellie Seabolt leaves to-day for Flint, where she will spend some time. A. J. Paisley of Toledo spent Saturday evenine and Sunday with friends in this city. A. McElcheran, an old Ann Arborite, paidold friecds in this city a visit on Tuesday. M88 Emma Hayley spent Saturday and Sunday wi.h Miss Mattie Graves in Ypsilanti town. Mrs. M. B. Gehton has eone to Kockford. 111., to visit her daughter, Miss Anna B. Gt-lston. S'ephen Pratt and wife of Detroit ppent Sunday with Mrs. Prati's sister, F. H. Belser. Louis Stierle of East Sapinaw came down and spent Sucday with frionds in this city. Fred Schmid and family are expocted home from their European tour on Nov. 12 or 13. They sailed yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Waterman, stier having visited their parents aDd friends in this city, have relurned to their home in Kansas. Carril M. Coe ot Aberdeen, South Dakot, has spent the pasi week with bis mother and friends in this city, his first vif-it here in eeven years. Chas. M. Jocea returned to his home, Wichita, Ks., Monday evening after having spent a pleasant week with his mother and friends in this city. Theodore Steirle, who has been clerking at Saline for the past five years, is now p.ermanently located behind the counter at Mack & Schtnid's. Prof. M. E. Cooley went to Mt. Pleasant Tuesday to inspect the school building at that place and to make a test of the steam heaüng apparatus. He expects to return this evening.
