A New Century

Baxtimoük, Md., Nov. 11. - The most important group of events in the history oí the Catholic church in America began here Sunday morning. It was the cominencement of a triple celebration - the hundredth anniversary of the appointment of the flrst American Catholic Bishop, the inauguration of the first congress of Catholic laymen held in the United States and the dedication of the new National University for Catholics. It is estimated tliat 15,000 strangers are in the city.
