The qilestion of how to secure a fine series of coneerts in Ann Arbor has been the problem, which we believe the Choral Union is to solve through its organization. The uniĆ³n has established an associate membership and invites the attention of all interested in musie to the advantages of sueh membership. Any person who becomes an asaociate member becomes thereby entitled to admission to all coneerts given by or under the auspices of the Choral Union (eommeneement concert excepted.) The price of an associate member's ticket is $2.00, and the entire Bum received is to be applied directly to the coneerts. Four concerts are already guaranteed and if the financial support wlH warrant it more will be given. The committee are already in active negotiation with prominent artist8, and a large membership list will result in bringing here the Boston Symphony Orchestra.with first class soloistsj The first concert of the series will be given in University Hall by the Detroit Philharmonic Club and the Cecilia Ladies' Quartette of that city. No evening tickets will be sold.and the only way to hear the concerts is to becorne an active or associute member of the Choral Union. Tickets may be obtained of G. R. Haviland.
