Utah Practically Bankrupt

Sait Laxe City, U. T., Jan. 14.- The Utah Legislatura met Monday. Governor Thomas sent in a brief message, referring mainly to Territorial affairs and recommending in general terms that the Legislatura take steps to bring Utah in accord with the general Government. The Auditor's report showa $185,697 of warrants in circulation and the Treasurer's report shows but S39.73 cash on hand. The Mormons are in control of the Legislature.
