Bad Year For The Coal Trade

Eeadino, Pa., Jan. 21.- The nuinber ol loaded coal cars of the Reading railway on sidings north of this city is estimated at 8,000. Unless there is a decided improvement in the coal trade every colliery on the Readint: road and individual ones in this locallty must Bhut down. The Reading Company's tracks between Nicetown and Port Kichmond are blocked with loaded cars, and 1,500,000 tons of ooal are held at the latter point for shipment.
