Death Of Miss Ann Marriott

Mrs. Ann Marriott, one oL the oldest settlers of Wasbtenaw county, she having come to this county over fifty years ugo, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. ,T. Sraurthwaite, in Pittsfield, Feb. 28, in her eighty-Brst year. Mrs. Marriott was the widow of the late Joseph Marriott, and the mother of Mrs. J. H. Webb and Mrs. T. J. Smurthwaite oí Pittsfield, and Mrs. Dr. H. F. Thomas of AllegaD, Mich. The funeral was held from the residence of Mr. Smurthwaite, on Monday, and her remains were deposted in the family lot in Fore8t Ilill cemetery.
