Common Council Meeting
The regular tnomhly meeting of the council was held lant night. Orders were drawn atnounung to $1467 26, and warrants were also ordered drawn in payment ol the electrie lisht bill, Prof. Greene for report on sewers, and the election expenses, amouming to nearly $1,000. The council ordered 3,000 copies of Prot. Greece's report on sewe-age. The council adjourned to meet tonight for their final eessioo. One matter which will come up for settlement will be the vote on alderman ia the fifth ward. Tbe demoorats claim to have found an error in the poll-list of that ward, which if corrected will give them the alderman.
