Tho Times noted this fact, and as a chronieler of the news of the day, stated the further fact that down this way the proposition was to nomínate Mayor Bean, and we added the thought it looked "a trifle queer to see the Argus engineering a Cook boom." Subsequently the editor of the Argus paid Adrián a visit, and if he did not requently run across the Bean boom ïere all we can say is that the soft soporific influences that have environed lim in Ann Arbor have robbed him of he keen scent for news, and the aptness for political diagnosis, which were haracteristic ofhimwhen hesojourned ïereabouts.
