Lutheran Conference

A conference of the Michigan ministers belonging to the Ohio Senate of the Lutheran church, has been in session here during the past three days. Ten pastors from abroad have been present: the Rev. Messrs. Meiser, Detzer and Freudenreich, of Detroit; Born, of Maybee; Schmierer; Volz, of Saginaw, and Hemminghaus, of Columbus, Ohio. The thesis for discussion by the conference has been the doctrine of the millennium. On Wednesday evening the ordinatton sermón was delivered by Rev. Mr. Meiser, of Detroit, after which Mr. Schultz, a theological student from Detroit, was admitted into the Lutheran ministry.
