A Heavy Loss

St. 1'avi,. Mimi , Oct. 6.- The buildings of the Minnesota Experimental Farm at Ilamlino wei-e entirely destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon. An explosión oi Chemicals at 3:30 started tho blazp, and tho fire apparatus at Hamline and Merriam Park was immediately taken to the scène, but there was no water availablo at the farm and the firemen wero obliged to stand by and see the buildings burn down. The loss on buildintfs was only f25,000, bu t the loss on apparatus and on experiments not yet oompleted can not be measured on amoney basis.
