Weighting A Silo

I cover my silag-e with paper, says a farmer in the Rural New Yorker, after it has reached a proper heat; then I put eight inohes of sawdust on top of tho paper. I havo just opened my silo and find the silabe the best I have ever had. I have swoet silage this year. I intend to cover my silo another year with dried swamp muck or peat in lieu of sawdust and then I wUl utilize as much as I can of it with' maniire as an absorbent. I think this plan will work well
