Forty Killed By An Earthquake

Algiers, Jan. 19. - Iurtlu-r details oi the destruction wrought by the severe earthquakc in Algeria reported on the 15th inst. have been received here. The towns of Gouraya and Villebourg were partially destroyed by the shocks and ïorty persons were killed by the falling of walls. The amount of damage done to propcrty is estimated at L-20,000.
