Choral Union Concert
Tiie concert by the Choral Union Friday evenisg, March 13, will be one of the finest ever given in this secüon. The bight of a chorus of 240 voices and an órcheetra of tliirty in University Hall in itseli' will be an inspiration, while the program is so adinirnbly built up that there will be no opportunity for criticism wilh reference to the selections. The Christoforos is full of dramatic Msociation, inspiiing harmonies and pleaaing melodies, and the tuneful Aria "Witli Verdure Ciad" from the Cretion, are contrasted with the idyllic "Flight of the Holy Family" and the bewitching Serenade by Neidlinger. These in turn act as a foil to the glorious Tannhaurer Marcli and Chorus. The Chorus will be assited by an oroheslra of thirty picked men, headed by that maiinificent artist, Wm. Yunck, and his colleagues of the Philharmonic Club, and th following soloists: Miss Nellie Goodwin, Toledo, soprano; Mrs. N. G. Hoö', Ann Arbor, contralto; Ilomer Warren, Detroit, tenor; E. C Crane, Detroit, baritone.
