Des Moixi.s, la., Juno 9. - On July 6 there wfll be open for entry in Iowáthe forfeited lands within tlie indemnity limits of the grants for the Sioux City, & St. Paul, Chicago, MiHvaukee & St. Paul, añil the Cêdar Rapids & Missouri Rtver railroad companies. Thcre will be probably about 15,000 acres of these lands opened íor settlement. Inquirios have been coming in very fast sinee the announeoment that they would be opened. A large part of these lands is occupied by settlers who have been innocent purehasers. Such settlers will bc given tlie lirst opportunity to make entries on the land they hold. Several thousand acres oí the land, however, is raw prairie, worth $10 to $10 an acre. All this will be open to the general ffublic for entiy.
