Chinese Villains

San Francisco, Cal., July J8.- Advices just received f rom China give particulars of fresh depredations by the Chinese against the missionaries. The latest attack was made at Yankao on June 29, when the Catholic mission was methodically looted, the crovvd passing things froin hand to hand in a chain. The buildings were aftrrwards set on firo. A íew da.vs previeras four chapéis were desfroyed in Klangsi, near the city of Pttchow. The ehapel, school, and residence of the priest were looted and burned on June 2(5. On the hamo day some predatory bands oomplotely destroyed a French orphanage at a place called Hairaen. In addition to the destruction of the orphanage, eight or nine of the wretched little ehildren cared for in the building weit caTried off. Contrary to the usual cnstom the building was not fired, but was pulled down.
