Blew His Own Head Off

PEIWCKTON, Ind., July 38. - John Landreth, a well-to-do farmer living 3 miles north of this city, committed suicide Sunday evening by shooting his head off with a shotgun. He had been out walkinff with his wife, and when they arrived at their gate he told her to wait until he went into the house. In a moment lie carne out with his gun and delibérate ly blew his head off before his wife and his mother, who is 94 years old. Temporary insanity is supposed to be the cause of his act.
