BlCHMOND, Va., Sept. 29.- Henrietta Murrell (colored) was hanged Monday at Smithville, Charlotte county, this state, for the murder by drowning of her 8-year-old child. She confessed the crime, her defense being that she could Hot obtain work and support heiself and offspring.
