Destroying The Land

Jdnkaü, Wis., Scpt. 89. - Extensivo fires have raged on Moricon marsh, sorae 0 miles north oí here, during the last week, and have not only destroyed thousands of tons of hay staeked there, but are buruing out tlu; sod and making the land valueless for several years to come. The marsh contains some 13,000 acres of land, of whieh it is estimated that 12,000 acres have been burned over.
