Washington, March 14. - An act oi vandalisra was perpetrated Mondaj in the green parlor at the white house which mav result in closing'all the parlors of the executive mansion against the public. Some one siashed the magnificently upholstered Kile-green sofa and curtains so that repairs are out of the question, and a new suit of furniture will be made necessary.
