One iiay last week while Airs. John Brown was busy with her household duties a coloree! tramp called and orde:ed her to get him sometliing to eat. She being alone in the house refused to do this and told him she would set the dog on him if he didn't clear out, whereupon he threa-ened her and said he was not afraid of ber or the dog either.
