Many Persons Drowned At Detroit

Detroit, Mioh., Aug. 7. - Two Italians, Charley Tirro, aged 25, and Clovanni di Scenza, aged 21, were drowned ■vvhile bathinp near the head of Belle Isle Sunday morning. James Smith, a 13-year-old boy, was drowned at DesChree-Shos-Ka Saturday evening by falling from the landing. This makes thirty-two persons drowned in the river thus far this summer.
