Mrs. A. V. Kobison is visiting in Kalamazoo. W. D. Adams and wife spent Sunday in Jackson. Fred MeOmber visited in Bay City laat Sunday. Walter Mack and wife are visiting the Exposition. W. W. Watts and wife visited Milan friends last Sunday. Ernest Tolchard, of Seattle, Wash., is visiting frienda in the city. Geo. Moore and wife returned last week from the VVorld's Fair. Maj. Soule returned Sunday morning from a vlsit in Milwaiikee, Wis. Mr. John Moore, wife and daughter, are in Chicago attendingthe Exposition. Mr. G. H. Monroe lias returned from an extended stay in Philadelphia. James A. Dell, of Philadelphia, Pa., is the guest of his brother, Dr. Dell. Mr. L. C. Noble left Monday afternoon for Chicago on a business trip. Mrs. B. G. Evans, of Detroit, is visiting her brother. Mr. John R. Miner. A. Paul, of the Hausefreund-Posst, bas gone to Chicago to visit the Exposition. Dr. J. G. Lynds and bride have returned and will reside at 17 S. Ingalls Street. Mrs. Chas. Richroond and family have returned from their visit to the Pacific Coast. Jennie Oakes and Mollie Carraher are visiting the World's Fair this week. Mrs. C. G. Liddell, returned last week from an extended visit to St. Louis and Chicago. S. D. Allen i enjoying a visit from his brotner J. B. Allen, of Los Vegas, New Mexico. Rpv. C. A. Young left Tnesdav night for Chicago on a business trip. He will return Saturday. Mrs. J. F. Schub, of South Fifth-ave., Ipft Tuesday morning for the World's Fair. Mrp. Henry DePue and daughter, Winnifred have returned from their trip to the White City. Miss Amelia Halsey and Miss Dora McCollum were among last week's excursionests to Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Rogers of Clinton spent Sunday visiting their brotherinlaw, Mr. G. B. Alexander. Dr. and Mrs. P. B. Rose have been entertaining Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thompson, of Glens Falls, N. Y. Mrs. Mary Locker of Decatur, Hls., has rented the new residence of N. J. Keyer, cor. Williams and División. Prof. Sill, formerly of the State Normal School, has removed to Arm Arbor, where he will reside hereafter. Miss Barringer, of Chieaeo, is spending her vaeation in this city and while here is the euest of Mrp. G. t). Frederick. Mrs. W. B. Phillips, who has been spending the snmmer with her parents in Carthage, N. Y., retutned this morning. Adolph Krause, of Grand Rapids, was in the citv last week visiting relatives.
