The usual treatment of catarrh is very unsatisfaetory, as thousanús cap testify. Proper local treatment is positivoly necessary to suceess, but many, if not most, of the remedies in general use afford but temporary relief. A cure certainly cannot be expected f rom snu tls. powders, douches and washes. Ely's Cream Balm, which is so highly commonded, is a remedy which combines the important requisitea of quick aetion specific curative power, with perfect safety and pleasantness to the patiënt. The druggists all sell it. Mr. Chidman, of the Fulton Market, 19 E. Washington-st., reports that the agent of Armour & Co., of Chicago, was in the city last week and made him such terms on fine meats that the Fulton Market is now able to sell all kinds of meats cheaper than ever.
