Priday, April 27, at 8 o'clock P. M., at the School of Music, Mrs. FrenchSheldon, F. R. G. S. , the brilliant lecurer, intrepid explorer, philanthropist, author, publisher and sculptor, cele)rated throughout both continents, will leliver a lecture on her marvelous African expedition entitled "Sultan to Sulan, the Wonders of África." This wonderful woman in 1891 penetrated 1000 miles into unknown África attended by a band of 200 native men andwomen, herself the organizer and eader of the magnificent expedition and the only white person in it. Her progress was perf ectly marvelous. Through hostile and barbarous nations she passed as an elegant lady would, superbly dressed, luxuriously surrounded, welcomed and feted at the courts of savage kings, with the American flag floating at the head of her triumphant procession and "Good will to man" her password and safo conduct. Some of our Ann Arbor people met and heard her at the World 's Fair, almost all saw her magnificent travelling equipment in the Transportation building. All these will be glad to see her agaïn and hearher exeiting adventure. Tickets aro on salo at Wahr's bookstore, Browa'e drugstore and at Sheehan's, and also in President Angeü's office with Miss Goodrich, prlee 50 cents, ehildren 25 cents.
