The senior literary elass will hold a social in the Waterman Gymnasium Friday evening, May. 4. The junior literary class will hold a promenade in Waterman Gymnasium JMday evening of this week. Pomeroy Laque, instructor in mathertatics, has been elected to the professorship of mathematics in the University of the City of New York, at a salary of $2000. Earl W. Dow, instructor in History, who has been on the sick list with typhoid fever at the hospital for some time, has again taken charge of his work in the University. D. H. Wingert, '94, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday evening of typhoid fever. The deceased was 23 years of age, very popular withhis fellow students, and was marshal of the senior class. His body was takon east at 11 o'clock uesday morning on the Michigan Central, the entire senior class escorting the remains to the depot.
