Lew H. Clement, president of the Cliford Piano Co., said to The Register yesterday,that he is recelvlng a great many letters containing catchy phrases. It is a good chance f or some bright mindedíperson to make a little money. The following is the way it can be done : rhe Ann Arbor Organ Co., of Ann Arjbor, Michigan, solé agents for the .Clifford Piano, are willing to buy ideas and pay cash fo" them. They otter $25 in cash for the most desirable catch line for the Clifford Piano. Competition is open to everybody and ideas are solicitod. lf there be a second catch line of special merit the sum of $10 will be given for it. The following are the tions : By catch Hn6 is moant a phrase, auch as 'You press the button, we do the rest' of the Kodak Co. : or 'Good Morning, llave you used I'ear's Soap?' These Unes should not be less than flve (5), and not more than ten (10) worde. The following ideas are offered: 'Keep your oye on the C'lifford Piano'; 'Rest beeauso built best' ;'The Cliftord tone is the tone you have looked for.' Any porton can Bubmlt as many Unes as they vhoose. Ëaeh catuh line must be enolosed in a separate envelope and signed by a fwtitious name and addressed to the Ann Arbor Organ Co , Arm Arbor, Mich. Another envlope containing the üctitious name and the correct name and address of the sender shall be adüressed to the Clifford Piano Co., Ann Arbor, Mich. The envelopos containing the fietitious names wlil flbret be opened, the otkers remaining soaled. When the est line has boen chosen, the second uivolopos will be opened and a draft tent to the author of the best line. A wo-re t stamp should be enclosed in ach envolopo forretnrn reply.
