With the exception of the .Tudge of Probate and the Janitor, the eourt ïouse of Washtenaw. County Is now occupied by republican ofticers. Suoh a change is this from what we have all been familiar with for these many years that it will take some time to become thoroughly accustomed to it. In tae clcrk's office Mr. Dansingburg will preside with his Bon Frederick as deputy. Register of Deeds, McKinstry, has pointed Geo.Alexander, of Ypsilanti, as deputy. Sheriff Judson has not yet appointed all of hig deputies. The following, however, have heen called. MessrsCanfteld, turnkey, and J. A. Wood, of Chelsea, under sheriff. Mr. Wood has already moved into the jail. For Ann Arbor, Zenus Sweet, W. E. Eldert and Pred. Huhn, have been chosen deputies. The business of the county is certainly in as good hands as it has ever been heretofore.
