Auspicious Opening

The opening of the new roonis of the Y. M. C. A. on New Year's day was a vci-y pleasant affair. The members of the Y". W. C. A. received betweon 4 and 9 p. m. Nearly 300 people called. In the evening a brief but delightful program was renderod eonsisting of some musical seleetions by Mr. Gillespeo upon the banjo, and songs by Mrs. Kedzie with Miss Minnie Davis at the piano. Pres. C. W. Wagner was presented with a beautiful willow rocker by members of the association. Mr. W. B. Philips made the presentation speech.
