An Amusing Oversight

An amuing incident occurred at a fashionable in Londón. One friend, who determined to save her money and credit at the same time, took a broken to a famous jeweler of Hond street and ordered the little stone to be set as a scarf-pin for the groom. As she sagely remarked: "It does me no good, and, coming from such a famous establishment, they are sure to prize it and think I paid a lot of money."
