There have been 56 Studente who r. ave entered since the holidays. The f nrollment now stands at 2783. Ex-Gov. William E. Russell, of Massa-jhusetts, will speak in Ann Arbor tomorrow evening under the auspices of the Studente' Lecture Association. It is reported that Beardsley, the stutont who disappeared so suddenly and mysteriously from the University last íall, has boen located in Australia and that he is engaged in missionary work. The Gradúate Club held an interesting meeting last Thursday night at the -fcome of Mrs. Israel Hall on Washtenaw-avo. Dr. Prescott read a paper ■apon "Some Chemical Laboratories of Gormany. Oothers. who graduated from the law department last year, has fallen heir to $25,000 by the death of the late Senator Fair, of California. The law faculty held a last Wednesday night and took action upon a matter tliat has long desorved thoir attention. As a resulto: tho meetiug one student, a Mr. Hathaway, was exilled and Messrs. Salisbury and Norria were suspended and a Mr. Whitten was put on probation.
