A Rock Island passenger train was derailed near Topeka, Kan. Twenty passengers were slightly hurt. A freight train to which was attached a passenger coach was wrecked, near Oblong. Dl., and six members of a dramatic ooaipany were injured. The boilers in a plaining mili at Muskegon, Mich., exploded, killing the watchman and shaking the cntire city. Eight prospector for gold are reported to have been frozen to death in the Seine river country in Minnesota.
