It was a convivial party, and it had reachecl tha.t stajje where the "invisible spirit of wine" raakes itself decidedly visible. One of the party was of the kind that carry wel' a heavy load, and even when fully cargoed present but few evidences to the eye of such a oondition. Another was of exaetly the opposite nature, one of those individuals who when in their cups look it, smell of it, and are alternately laurhing1 and crying aggressive and aƶ'ectionate. The quieter looked the noisier over while the latter was making1 an unpleasant exhibition of himself and reinarked to a neiyhbor: "How - hic - hovv tnueh a drunkeu drunkard disg-usts a sober drunkardl"
