Aid. Geo. Ij. Moore is out again. Conrad Krapf, of E. Jefferaon-st. is quito ill. L. öruuer retui-nod Saturday from a trip to West Branch. Mr. and Mrs. Fred. Wedemeyer, of Chelsea, wero in the city last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred. Howlet attended a wedding in Chelsea last Wednesday. Dr. Rorabaeher, of Battle Creek, was in the city last Thursday on professional business, W. K. West, of Syracuse, N. Y., was in the city last Thursday, the guest of H. J. Brown. Prof. Martin Seabolt. of Manistee, visited his father, Moses' Seabolt, a few days last week. Voiney Chapin, ex-postm aster of St Johns. visited his mother, Mrs. C. A Chapin, last week. .Miss Lottie K. Tucker, of Jackson, was the guest of Mi', and Mrs. Grove Kay, of N. Thayer-st. last week. Miss Susie Dorrance,who.has been in New York City for the past year, under treatment, arrived home last week. Miss Mary Duncan, of Au Sable, was the guest of Mrs. R. C. Barney, of S. Thayer-st., the latter part of last week. Ottomar O. Krapf, of Saginaw, is in the city, been called here by the illness of his father, Conrad Krapf. Mrs. C. J. Patterson, of Detroit, was the guest of her brother, Wm. Goodyear and family for a few days last week. Geo. H. Snow, state editor of The Êvening News, formerly local on The Register, was in the city over Sunday. Miss Emma Gundert, of Mt. Clemens was the guest of Mrs. Fannie Gundert, of S. First-st., during the latter part of last week. Mrs. Wm. M.Wetmore. of Jonesville, was the guest of her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wetmore, of W. Huron-st., for a few days last week. Mrs. Fred. C. Brown, of 97 Packardst., returned last Wednesday evening rom Las Vegas, N. M., where she has )een for the past two months for her ïealth. Rev. C. A. Young was in the city a !ew hours yesterday. He is travelíng n the interest of the Bible Chaira and eports ffood success. Mrs Young and ielen are in Kansas City. '1 he latter ïas recently been ill with scarlct fever but has recovered.
