A Chicago special says: It is claimed on good authority that there is positive evidence that the silver leaders in Illinois are now in eommunication with Senator llill oí New York, and are urg-ing him to declare in favor of free silver. promising hira a solid vt-estern and southern delegation in the national Democratie convention and that Mr. llill has the matter under advisement and may write a letter which will be read at the Illinois state convention to be held June f, in which fiiM' that body is expected to indorse him íor the presidency with a whoop. Wm. 11. llinrichsen, the silver leader of the Sucker state, is also to be indorsed for the vice-presidential nomination. It is claimed that llill is only waiting to get Tammany into Une for the coup de etat, that Crisp is in the scheme to swing the south into line and llinrichsen will bring the west.
