New Homoeopathic Faculty

At the Regenta last Monday n entirely new faculty fof the Homoeoathic school was announced. All of ha new men are residentsof Michigan, men who stand well with the homoeopathic fraternity of the state. Itwasa )olitic move on the part of the regenta o select only Michigan men. The men re as iollows: Dr. Leseure. Detroit, urgery : Dr. C. R. Long, Ionia, theraeutics ; Dr.C'ope'and.Bay City, oplithlaology ; Dr. Milner, Grand Rápids, materia medica. Dr. Leseure is to be the new dean of the department. In oonversation with a number of rominent citizens yesterday, it seems ,o be the opinión that with this new acnlty. the school will at once become rosperous if the two medical schools an be entirely separated. It is true hat money might be saved if certain ourses which are practieally the same could be given to students in both departments at once, but such an arrangement would be sure to result in the beief by the homoeopaths of the state hat the homoeopathic students would 40 elsowhere to school. They say, give us a school entirely distinct and we will rove to you that it will prosper. It hould be given a fair trial at least. It eems to be generally conceeded that he department will not go to Detroit.
