Every farmer within reach of Whitmore Lake should not fail to be on hand at the annual Farmers' Picnic to be held there a week from next Saturday. These Annual gatherings of the farmers are a source of pleasure and rest while they afford a splendid ap. portunity to renew old acquaintences and visit wlth friends whom you are not able to see at other times. These occasions have always been most pleasant ones long te be remembered by all who have attended them. The attractions this year are fully up to the average if not even superior to those of former occaisions. It goes without saying, that farmer Torn Palmer will interest and please every one who hears him. The rumor that he would not be present is not true so Mr. Waldon, the president of the day, informs Ub. Mr. Waldon stated to The Register that he had positive assurance from Mr, Palmer that he would be on hand to talk to the people as has been announced. Hon. Wm. A. Moore, of Detroit, a former Washtenaw county boy, now one of the best known and most suecessful lawyers in the state will also deliver an address whieh cannot fail to be interesting. Mr. Wm. Ball, of Hamburg, one of our well-known átíd most successful farmers always makes a good speech and knows from practical experience just what will appeal most strongly to that class of people. The committee on arrangements urgenly request all who can possibly do so to come and make this day an enjoyable one. The more the merrier.
