IBoston's Masóme temple is the scène of desolation and destruction wrought by tire, which yutted the two upper btories. The loss is estiuiated at 8400,üuo. All of the reealia of the Scottish Rites, one of the most expensive outfits in the Masonic order, was destroyed, and the liothii; hall, Kryptian hall and red rooms, with their valuable tapéstries and furnisltings, were ruined. The are 26 lodgea and commandries whicii moet in the temple, tnd all of them will sustain some loss. vSeveral accidenta oecuVred durin the fire. District Chiei Regan waa carried by the roof :0 feet, sustaiuing-a broken leg and iujuries to liis head, and severe internal injuries. Lieutenant Madden'a skull was fractured. Fireman .lames Downey was struek on the head by a piece of slate.
