John H. Cutting, of Cutting, Reyer & Co., is in Boston, Mass., on business. Henry Eiseman was called to Monroe last week by the death of nis brother. Mrs. J. M. Wheeler expects to go to California soon where she will spend the winter. Geo. W. Weeks, of the North Side, entertained his father, from Sumaria, over Sunday. Will Stopich was ealled to his home in Chelsea Saturday night by the death of his father. County School Cominissioner W. W. Wedemeyer visited E. J. Ottaway in Detroit last week. Dr. W. B. Smith visited Detroit Monday and while there invested in 23 lots of city real estáte. Miss Simeón Belknop, of Niles, visited a few days last week with friends at the Alpha Phi house. Miss Franeis Onan, trimmer at the Utopia Millinary parlors, spent a couple of day3 last week in Toledo. Justice C. B. Sunderland, pastor of the Unitarian church of this city. left Berlin, Nov. 1, for four months of travel in India. Rev. T. W.Young attended the meeting of the Washtenaw Baptist Association of Manchester Tueaday and Wednesday. W. G. Vinton, of Detroit, president af the board of trustees of the eastern insane asylum called on Pred Schmid, Monday. Louis Boes and Miss Anna Lutz, both of this city, will be married tonight at the Zion church, Rev. Max Hein, officiating. Dr. and Mrs. C. G. Darling are entertaining for a few days Mrs. John Miller, of Bethel, N. Y. Mrs. Miller has many friends in this city. Mrs, Andrew Campbell, of Pittsfleld left Tuesday for Fort Scott, Kansas, where she will visit her son Robert Campbell and family. Mrs. S. A. Moren and children left Tuesday a. m. for Florida where they will spend the winter. Mr Moran accompanied them as far as Atlanta, Ga., taking edvantage of the Buckeye State Editorial Assooiation excursión to the Atlanta Exposition. Mr. Moran will return in about a week.
