The November Inlauder is out. The consultation room in connection with the lawlibrary is about completed. The ftrst freshman social this year will be held at Granger's tomorrow uight. The board of control of the Athletic Association bas ordered the freshman soot ball team must disband. A number of new drains are being dug about tho campus to prevent if possible the usual flooding. lt was a narrow escape that the U. of M. team made last Saturday before the fc pt ball team of Perdue. Arthur Brewor, captain of tha Harvard fvrt ball team has been put on probation on account of being behind in uu .tudies, There will De a big delegation at Detroit Saturday to witness the game tweon the Minnesota and the U. of M. foot ball teama. The Tribune correspondent is author'ity for the statement tbat there is a possibility of the erection of an auditorium on the campus with a capacity to seat 16,000. Foot ball men are hastling to secure enough tickets to warrant the running of a special traiu to Chicago next Wedneaday. It will require the sale of 200 tickets at $5.00 to secure the train. AU western foot ball enthusiasts are proud of the fine playing done by our team in the Harvard-Michigan game. Although defeated the playing was Buch that our team must be given an equal standing with the eastern teams. The Gym received a gift of twelve easy chairs and a reading table from some unknown donor last week. They will be placed in the reading room at the rightof the entrance which will be used as a reception and reading room. Much euthusiasm is being manifested in Chicago over the Thanksgiv: inar game tobe played there on that day by our team. It is believed that at least ten thousand people will attend. A $5 rato from here will induce a largo num! ber to go frcrn Ann Arbor.
