Ed Beaeh, for supervisor, was elected by one majority, and Jacob Kline, Jr. for treasurer by seventeen majority. MANCHESTER. Fine spring weather. Wm. Wolff, a former resident of this place, moved last Tuesday to his farm in Norvell. The glory of defeat seems to be just as enthusastic this year as it was last only it is claimed by the "wrong party. Manchester, Sharon,'and Bridgewater have elected straight Democratie tickets. WEBSTER The Republican ticket is elected by sixty majority. The joint debate between the Scio and Webster debating societies, takes place this FYiday evening in the schoolhouse in district number 2. The subject is "Resolved, that there is more happiness in possession than inpursuit" led respectively by Ai r. Lyon and Mr. Stacy. The Easter service3 at the Congregrational church were well conducted. George Latxra. of Genoa, made a short stay in Webster last week. An Easter party held at W. C. Latson's lrst Saturday evening, was well attended and universally enjoyed. There will be no services next Sunday morning at the Congregational church. The congregation has accepted an invitation to worship, and particípate in comtnunion with the Methodist congrregration. Services will begin at 10:30 a. m. IIIMIUICO. The L. A S. will meet one week f rom today, at the home of Mrs. E. Matteson, at one o'clock. Mrs. H. Ruthruff. of Ypsilanti, spent last week with relativos here. Mrs. Geo Lavender, of Whitmore Lake visitedherparents here last week. Miss Edith Judson fesumed her school work, Monday, in the Crippen school af ter a short vacation. Mr. E. Camp has moved his family on the Rudman place a mile west of i here. Mr. J. Rice is contemplating erecting a nw residenca this cominj summer.
